Introduction

As the main producer of singo pear, Seonghwan-eup, Cheonan-Si has a pear field developed in Yoonggum-ri’s Wangjibong Peak area and Wangrim-ri.

Cheonan singo pears are grown in natural environments in soil that is rich with a plentiful supply of water. This gives them a distinct yellowish-brown coloring while providing an unrivaled soft pulp with a sweet, cool taste thanks to an abundance of sweet juice.

The Seonghwan Wangjibong Pear Blossom Complex is the largest producer of pears in the country that is built focusing on Seonghwan-eup, Wangjibong. As such, there is a magnificent spectacle put on display by the white pear flowers as they bloom in the months of April and May.
